The Magic of Champagne Masterclass

Join us for an exquisite Champagne Tasting Masterclass from C’est Bon Restaurant, presented by Miriam Rose. This event is a perfect blend of luxury and learning, offering you the chance to indulge in the sophisticated world of French Champagne supplied by Joval Wine Group.

During the masterclass, you will have the opportunity to taste a minimum of five different Champagnes from the prestigious Taittinger House, carefully selected to provide a comprehensive overview of their renowned offerings. These Champagnes are generously provided by Joval Wine Group (Gae Grant), ensuring an authentic and high-quality tasting experience.

To enhance your tasting, delightful nibbles will be served alongside the Champagnes. These carefully chosen accompaniments are designed to complement the sparkling wines, making the flavours even more enjoyable and distinct.

With Miriam Rose’s expert guidance, you’ll leave with a greater appreciation for the art of Champagne and the delicate nuances that make Taittinger a standout among connoisseurs.

Miriam Rose from C’est Bon Restaurant

Miriam Rose is the Head Sommelier at C’est Bon Restaurant. Early in her career, Miriam honed her skills managing restaurants in Melbourne before embarking on an extensive period in London. There, she worked with esteemed establishments such as The Quality Chophouse and notably served as the Wine Operations and Training Manager at St. JOHN. In her role, she was responsible for educating all front-of-house staff about an exclusively French wine list. Passionate about making wine more accessible and understandable, she now leads the wine program at C’est Bon in Brisbane, overseeing a predominantly French wine list.
Taittinger is a prestigious French Champagne house, renowned for its elegant and refined sparkling wines. Founded in 1734 and based in Reims, it is currently led by Vitalie Taittinger. The estate is famous for its flagship wines, Comtes de Champagne (100% Chardonnay) and Comtes de Champagne Rosé (70% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay). After briefly being sold in 2005, the Taittinger family reacquired the house in 2006, ensuring the continuation of their rich winemaking heritage. In 2017, Taittinger expanded to England, planting vines in Kent. Taittinger remains a symbol of Champagne excellence, blending tradition with innovation.
