Tickle and Test Your Taste Buds!
Let Lucie, the sommelier from Bottli, take you on a wine-tasting experience full of surprises as she guides you through a comparison between Australia and France. When it comes to wine, it is not always easy to pick up the differences, but it is always fun to try! After sampling three grape varieties, one each from France and Australia, you will be able to take notes, rate the wines, and place a bet on which country you think it comes from – don’t worry, all will be revealed before you go! If you appreciate wine, this masterclass is for you!
Lucie has established a passion for the hospitality industry from a young age. She took her first position as a junior sommelier at “Le Gavroche” working with Michel Roux. Throughout that time, she worked in a 2 Michelin star restaurant where she handled some of the best bottles in the world on a daily basis. While working as a sommelier for a fine dining restaurant in a 5-star resort, Lucie gained a wealth of knowledge of New World Wines and the standards of service for the leading hotels of the world. Eager to learn more about those wines, Lucie came to Australia and has had several experiences that have led to new endeavours in Brisbane.
