Oh la la, Christmas has come early!
You’re invited to join the celebrations at our French Christmas in July Market.

Feel the release and freedom with us at our very first “guinguette” ball, where you can dance the night away to French melodies under the stars with a glass of Champagne!
Et voila! Here is everything you need to know about who we are, what we do and how we do it. Get ready now for our next Rendez-vous in October, 2020

Join Aurelien Girard & Peter Gross for a fascinating tasting experience with eight of the best French cheeses, specially selected based on their region. Through a journey à ‘huit fromages’, Aurelien will guide you through a comparison of taste profile, terroir influence, and manufacturing method of the different cheeses. You can unlock your love of ‘fromage’!
Born in the green pasture of Normandie, the home of camembert and cider, Aurelien Girard has been working with food from a very early age. He has a particular fascination with cheese. His first work was for the Lactalis Camembert factory – which produces over 400 000 250g Camemberts a day – in Domfront. Aurelien is now working with Black Pearl Epicure, Brisbane’s premier provider of specialty foods, who bring the best cheeses from around the world to Australia.
Peter Gross has been in the Australian dairy industry for 50 years – from a dairy in Gippsland Victoria, the huge American manufacturer ‘Kraft’ to Australia’s premier boutique cheese producer ‘King Island’. He started the South Cape brand in the late 80’s, which turns over in excess of $1 Million a year. Peter is now the General Manager of Black Pearl Epicure, a Brisbane food supplier icon over the last 25 years for the sourcing of the very best products from all around the world.
