Born and raised in the south-west of France, Christian Blondeau spent over 20 years in 5* hotel management in France and Europe before moving to Australia to further his career.

In 2002, Christian Blondeau saw an opportunity to offer a French Travel Specialist service for discerning Australian travellers wanting to explore France; and France at Leisure was founded.

The instant business success quickly developed as a National Tour Operator servicing travellers in need of more refined products that others could not provide.

In 2007, France at Leisure became an official sub-agent for the Rugby World Cup 2007 hosted in France and provided RWC 2007 packages to over 800 Australian rugby fans with various corporate group tours.

With over 20 years of experience as an expert on France, Christian Blondeau has already secured quality travel programmes around the next World Cup hosted by France in 2023.
