Riza’s Catering, a family-owned company, started 15 years ago as a Pioneer of Sausages in Queensland. Using the traditional European recipe, and spcies combined with local products, the goal is to achieve the very best and exclusive products without any compromises!
In that time, Riza’s has served grilled sausages and fresh baked rolls to thousands upon thousands of satisfied customers at every kind of event, festival and corporate function imaginable in Queensland and New South Wales. On top of this, you can find them all year long on Wednesdays and Saturdays at the Eumundi Markets in the Sunshine Coast.
Now, Riza’s is coming to LE Festival – Brisbane French Festival with their three traditional French dishes:
*Choucourte Garnie is a famous dish from Alsace, a historical region in northeastern France. It is prepared with hot Sauerkraut, Riesling wine, Frankfurter sausage, Mettwurst sausage, and other different kinds of salted cuts of pork, served with steamed potatoes and Dijon mustard.
*Boudin Noir is a darked-hued blood sausage sautéed and served with our homemade Kappes-Teerdich, a mashed potato sauerkraut combination, and topped with caramelized onions.
*Croque Monsieur is a very iconic, ridiculously French dish. The name is based on the verb croquer (to crunch) and monsieur (mister), and its first recorded appearance was on a Paris café menu in 1910. Our Croque Monsieur is traditionally made with the finest ham between slices of butter and mouth-watering melted Gruyère cheese. The dish becomes a ‘Madame’ when it is topped with a fried egg.
Come and enjoy the authentic French culinary experience! Bon appétit!
