The raw influential role of women through the ages
Do you love an excuse for a glass of Champagne?
Have you ever thought about the history of the Champagne industry?
Would you consider that women had an influential role in it?
Join Champagne educator and connoisseur, Amanda Reboul, for a fascinating historical lesson on Champagne. Amanda will discuss the role some very strong and visionary women have played at key moments in history in the Champagne industry. The women of Champagne have come to the forefront when they were needed most; from the Veuve Clicquot in the 1800s, to Madame Bollinger in the 1900s, and, more recently, Carol Duval Leroy.
These women played an important, influential role not only in the production and business of Champagne, but also the way we drink and enjoy Champagne today.
