Wine Pavilion

The Bordeaux & Beyond Wine Pavilion

The Wine Pavilion returns for the fourth time in 2017, and is be dedicated to French wines and other French alcohols.

The Pavilion will welcome visitors in a fashion that has proved very successfull during the previous years. Entry to the Pavilion is free for all Festival visitors, allowing everyone to talk to exhibitors and have a look at their products. However, a great way of visiting the pavilion is to buy at the entrance a tasting glass which includes three tasting tickets. The price in only $10 and enables to sample three of the exhibitors’ wines offered for tasting.
Exhibitors will be ready to take orders for delivery after the festival and often offer great deals during the festival.

This year we are introducing a Wine Bar at the Pavilion. It will sell Exhibitors’ wines exclusively, giving visitors further opportunity to enjoy exceptional wines with friends in a relaxing atmosphere.

Le Festival saw 45,000 visitors pass through the gates last year, and this year is set to be even bigger.

In 2017 Bordeaux and Beyond is again this year our Naming Right sponsor for the Wine Pavilion.

Bordeaux & Beyond

The team at Bordeaux and Beyond focus on bringing in small pallet lots of Estate/Chateau wines so that you can get genuine wines at affordable prices in Australia.

We are a Melbourne based company but also have access to the cellar of Richard Serisier's Chateau de Cadillac on a Limestone uplift on the Right Bank of Bordeaux. Richard Serisier is the first Australian since Len Evans to own a wine producing Chateau in Bordeaux. He has a long history in the Australian wine industry and founded this import company in 2007 which is leading and specializing in "New French" wine. Richard's connections with a lot of French wine estates enable Bordeaux and Beyond to bring you very drinkable, interesting and edgy wines made by the viticulturist and vigneron. Most are from smaller family owned estates producing outstanding wines with unique personality but still characteristic of their region and terroir.

The Bordeaux and Beyond team of experienced winemakers and critics is able to source and select wines which are often only available locally to where they are produced.

The Champagne Leclaire-Thiefaine available in Australia for the first time is the present incarnation of our mission.   As RM growers our producers Virginie and Reynald Leclaire craft their Champagnes with absolute respect for tradition, exclusively from the grapes grown on their own domain.

This is what makes each cuvée unique and incomparable and guarantees an unforgettable moment of tasting.  Experience the legacy of Champagne traditions handed down through five generations, since 1878.
