The Vétérans de l’Armée Française d’Australie Incorporated in Queensland (VAFA) is a non-profit, voluntary association incorporated in Queensland.  We are based in Brisbane. 

The VAFA is the result of the amalgamation of the Anciens Combattants Français au Queensland, the Amicale des Anciens des Troupes de Marines and the Amicale des Anciens de la Légion Étrangère d’Australie.  

The aim of the organization is primarily to commemorate all those who have served under the tricolor flag, but also to be social and fraternal. Our ranks include veterans, descendants of veterans, and sympathizers of various nationalities with a connection to the French armed forces. Our members can be found on several continents.
