Le Festival – Brisbane French Festival Inc. is an annual event organised by Brisbane French Festival Inc., a not-for-profit association. The following policy outlines and indicates our commitment to your privacy. Our collection, use, and necessary disclosure of information complies with all regulations and provisions. Your privacy is our priority; your information will never be used for purposes outside of our association and disclosed only to certain persons where necessary and appropriate.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Any personal data we collect is done so with discretion and we take necessary steps to protect all personal information we hold. We collect data from comments, contact forms, online ticket sales, embedded content from other websites, and media. The information that we collect from these includes:

– Ticket details (entry type, V.I.P lounge, masterclasses….)

This information is used solely for our own knowledge of our follower and visitor demographics, as well as for feedback purposes to help us improve our products and services for our customers’ benefits. No information is passed to third parties of any kind. Careful disclosure of information only occurs within the association when absolutely necessary. There is no external disclosure of any kind.
Visitors can leave comments on our site. Upon doing so, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitors’ IP address and browser user agent string. This helps us to effectively detect spam. In addition, an anonymised string created through your email address (also known as a hash), may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine whether you are using it. The Gravatar service policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Following approval of your comment, your profile picture is made visible to the public in the context of your comment. We can assure that all credit card transactions will be processed in a safe and secure manner, with no card details being stored afterwards.

These are there for your convenience to save time on your next visit to our site, by automatically filling in your details when you leave subsequent comments. TICKETS REFUND POLICY

Tickets for our events are sold online prior to the event, and at the gate for the duration of the event (pre COVID).
What happens if you change your mind about your order?
Once you place your purchase order, we retain the details of the purchase until sometime after the event. If you change your mind for any reason, you might be entitled to a full refund, return, or exchange. Please contact us to discuss.
What Happens If You Are Not Satisfied?
We always strive to deliver to expectations and provide a positive experience for our visitors. Like any business, our main objective is satisfied visitors/customers – especially when they express an interest in returning. Feedback is always welcome and very much appreciated, as it helps us identify shortcomings to help us improve and evolve. If you are not happy with your purchase for whatever reason, please let us know either via the contact form on our site or emailing us.
Reasons For Refund/Return/Exchange
Our visitors and their satisfaction are among our top priorities. As such, we can offer the options for refund, return, or exchange, if you are dissatisfied with your purchase, have purchased the wrong product by mistake, or any instance at which we might be at fault. In line with the Australian Consumer Law, full refunds are available for goods with major faults or defects, or any other significant issue.However once a sale is finalised, there will be no refunds, cancellations or exchanges, except as provided for in the LPA Ticketing Code of Practice for event ticketing. COVID-19 / Pandemic – Last minute cancelation of events
Should any of the events be unable to proceed on the original advertised date, they will be moved to another date. Full and immediate refunds will be available for those that do not wish to attend the secondary dates.
